description
Technical Field The invention relates to a method for storing or transporting a door seal of a door leaf according to the preamble of patent claim 1, a method for storing or transporting a door seal of a door leaf and for mounting the door seal according to the preamble of patent claim 4, as well as a door system According to the preamble of claim 5, a door seal according to the preamble of claim 12 and a door leaf according to the preamble of claim 15.
PRIOR ART A wide variety of floor seals for doors are known. Simple forms form the sliding seals, which are attached to the side of the door or in a door groove. Furthermore, magnetic door seals are known. Self-releasing mechanical door seals, as described, for example, in EP 0 338 974, have also proven successful.
As shown for example in EP 1 122 394, such seals are arranged in a U-shaped door groove and screwed at both ends of the door groove with a mounting bracket to the door.
EP 1 486 639 proposes to slide a spring-trained clip over an upper web of the seal housing and to fasten this clip with nails attached thereto from below into the door groove.
US 3 871 133 discloses a steel door with a lowering seal disposed therein. Between the two side walls of the door a lying c-shaped profile is screwed into which a corresponding guide rail of Absenkdichtung can be inserted.
Also EP 0 609 755 describes a rail, which is screwed in a groove of a door on the ceiling side to receive a correspondingly shaped seal housing form fit. In one embodiment, the rail and the seal housing on lateral sawtooth profiles, wherein the seal housing is introduced by being knocked or pushed into the rail.
Further seals and their holders in a door leaf are described in DE 815 538, GB 2 231 360, EP 1 138 865 and EP 1 772 586.
These door seals are not suitable for mechanical or automatic attachment, their installation is time consuming and / or it will be needed for the assembly tools. The machine-mountable seals described are constructed relatively complicated. They can not be cut and they are more expensive and more prone to failure than simple door seals. Furthermore, the fixation in screwless mounted seals is inadequate, especially in the case of wooden doors. Another disadvantage is that many of these seals can only be dismantled if the door is lifted out of their hinges.
Usually, these seals and doors are packed separately and not delivered to the same time on the construction sites and assembled there or the seals are already finished in the door and mounted together.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the invention to simplify the storage and transport of the door seal.
This object is achieved by a method, a door system, a door seal and a door leaf with the features of the claims 1,4, 5, 12 and 15.
In the inventive method for storing or transporting a door seal of a door leaf, the door seal when used as intended in a position of use in or attached to a door, wherein the door seal has a housing and a sealing element held therein, which is directed in the use position down , According to the invention, the door seal is arranged in the storage or transport in a different position of use of the transport position in or on the door leaf.
As a result, the seal does not have to be packed separately. It can also be mechanically introduced into the door leaf by the door manufacturer. Since the door seal is already connected to the door leaf, it does not need its own storage space. Furthermore, it is ensured that the door leaf is delivered in any case together with its door seal. Furthermore, it is possible to optimally protect the door seal and in particular the soft sealing element, so that it is not damaged during storage and during transport as well as during assembly of the door.
Preferably, the door seal is arranged in its transport position or orientation in reverse orientation to its position of use or orientation, so that the sealing element is directed upwards. As a result, this is protected and not exposed.
In a preferred variant, the door seal is pushed laterally into transport position in a groove of the door and held, in which it is inserted laterally and held in the position of use, but in a different orientation. As a result, no special recesses must be provided on the door leaf for receiving the door seal in its transport position. Preferably, the groove has a substantially U-shaped cross-section.
If the method further comprises the assembly of the door seal in its position of use in or on the door leaf, the door seal can be brought from their transport position to their operating position when mounted in the door frame door. The entire assembly time can be reduced thereby.
In the event that the assembled door is pivotable by approximately 120 °, the door seal is preferably mounted on the door hinge side or in the door leaf. As a result, in the case of a door seal which can be actuated on one side, only one stop is sufficient to compensate for the pressure generated by the actuating rod of the door seal. The door seal does not have to be screwed to the door leaf and can therefore be removed more easily and quickly. As a stop element, a separate, connectable to the housing of the door seal part, for example, an angle element serve. The housing of the door seal can itself have one or more stop elements. Furthermore, the groove of the door leaf can not be formed completely continuous and serve as a one-sided at least upper stop for the inserted door seal.
In the event that the mounted door is pivotable by less than 120 °, the door seal is preferably attached to the lock side on or in the door leaf. In this case, the seal is preferably screwed to the door leaf, in particular if it is actuated on one side.
The inventive door system with a door leaf and a door seal is particularly suitable for use of the above method. The door seal is durable in an intended position of use on or in the door leaf, wherein the door seal has a housing and a sealing element held therein, which is directed in this intended use position down. According to the invention, the door seal is held in a transport position in or on the door leaf, which differs from the position of use.
Preferably, the door seal is a lowering seal. In particular, it is a lowering seal, which automatically lowers by means of an actuating rod when closing the door against a spring force and automatically raises again when opening. In the housing of the seal, a lowerable and liftable sealing strip is preferably arranged, to which one or more sealing elements are attached. In the position of use, the sealing element in the lowered state seals a lower door gap with respect to a floor, and in the raised state it ends at a distance from the floor.
However, the door seal may for example be a sliding seal or a magnetic seal.
Preferably, the sealing element is directed in the transport position upwards. Preferably, the door seal is fastened in its transport position on one end face or on both end faces by means of a retaining element, in particular an adhesive tape, on the door leaf.
In a preferred embodiment, the door has a groove in which the door seal is held in its transport position, said groove also serves to hold the door seal in its position of use.
In one embodiment, the door seal is held in the groove of the door leaf by means of a tongue and groove joint. It can be arranged freely suspended in the transport system and / or in its position of use in the door leaf. The tongue and groove connection forms an overflow protection element for the door seal. Nut-groove stone connections are understood in this application to be both positive and non-positive connections in which lugs, ribs or other protruding elements are received in corresponding receptacles to hold a part in a position.
In another embodiment, this groove of the door leaf at its lower end on both sides inwardly projecting projections or ledges, on which the door seal rests with a seal housing. The groove is stepped and thus designed substantially T-shaped. These projections or ledges form an overflow protection element which prevents the inserted seal from falling down out of the door leaf.
An inventive door seal for a door for use in the above-mentioned door system has a cross-sectionally substantially U-shaped, in the intended position of use downwardly open housing with two side walls and a connecting the two side walls upper web. The door seal further comprises a sealing element held in the housing. According to the invention, the housing has lugs and / or grooves in order to hold the door seal in its position of use in a groove of the door leaf. The housing has lugs and / or grooves to keep the door seal in the groove of the door leaf in a transport position, which differs from the intended use position.
The lugs and / or grooves for holding in the position of use may be identical to the lugs and / or grooves for holding the door seal in its transport position. However, different lugs and / or grooves can be used to achieve the two orientations or layers. Corresponding counterparts are each provided at a suitable location in the groove of the door leaf.
Preferably, the grooves or lugs for holding the door seal in its transport position on the outer sides of the two side walls, preferably arranged at the lower in use position ends.
Preferably, the lugs or grooves for holding the door seal in its position of use are arranged on the web of the housing.
A door according to the invention has at its lower end in the intended position of use a downwardly open groove, which has lugs and / or grooves to keep the door seal in a groove and sliding block connection in their Gebrauchsläge and their transport position. Preferably, the groove has a substantially U-shaped cross-section, wherein the side walls over the entire depth of the groove have a constant distance from each other, that is, they are plane-parallel to each other.
In a preferred embodiment, a stop or fastening means for fixing the door seal in a groove of a door in a proper position of use is present, wherein the stop or fastener is pre-assembled on the door seal for use in position of use already in the transport position. However, it may also be easily held together with the door seal in the door and be connected only at or just before mounting the door seal in its position of use with the door seal.
The stop or fastening means is preferably an angular element, which is insertable with a first leg in the housing of the door seal and can be brought with a second leg to bear against an end face of the door leaf. The housing or its upper web has a hole or a retaining lug, and the stop or fastening means has on the first leg in a position of use upwardly projecting retaining lug or a hole, wherein the retaining lug of the one part with the hole of the other part in Intervention can be brought. The second leg preferably has a hole. Preferably, the housing or its upper web is provided at both front ends with a hole or a retaining lug. The stop or fastener is thus snapped into the door seal.
The stop or fastening means may also be designed differently. It does not necessarily have to be an angle element with two legs. It may for example also be formed as a wire part, which is present with two ends laterally on the front side of the door leaf and is hooked with a middle bent to a tab portion in a retaining lug of the seal housing.
If previously and in the following is spoken by door leaves, a door is meant so that can be used in a door frame. The door leaf can be pivoted with respect to the door frame or moved longitudinally. It also means any kind of sliding doors and folding walls.
Further advantageous variants of the method and advantageous embodiments will become apparent from the dependent claims.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION FIG. 3 shows a door seal 2 which can be triggered automatically by means of mechanical means in the form of a lowering seal of a known type, as described, for example, in EP 1 122 394. It has a housing 20 with a substantially U-shaped cross section, which is designed to be open at the intended use position. The housing 20 is essentially formed by two mutually parallel side walls and a web connecting them. In this housing 20 a Absenkleiste is arranged, which is raised and lowered relative to the housing 20 via a spring mechanism, not shown. The Absenkleiste consists essentially of a rigid Absenkprofilschiene 21 and a one or more parts attached thereto sealing element 22nd
Housing 20 and lowering rail 21 are preferably made of aluminum, the sealing element 22 made of an elastomeric material. Preferably, the housing 20 is formed so high that the Absenkleiste is completely absorbed in the raised state in it and thus does not exceed this.
The lowering and raising is triggered by an actuating rod shown in FIG. 5 or a button 23, which (r) in the assembled state of the door seal the door leaf side the door 1 protrudes. This actuator button 23 is pressed in closing the door leaf in this and thereby actuates the lowering mechanism. When the door leaf is opened, it is pushed out of the door leaf by spring force, so that the sealing strip is raised again thanks to the lowering mechanism.
The door seal shown here is purely exemplary in nature. The teaching of the invention can also be applied to other known door seals, in particular by means of a mechanism automatically lowerable seals, and in particular on one-sided operable door seals. It can equally be applied to sliding seals, in particular those having a housing and a sealing element held therein.
In Fig. 3, the door seal 2 is shown in its raised position of use, wherein the door seal is arranged in a groove 11 of a door leaf 1 shown only partially. The groove 11 is arranged on the underside of the door leaf 1 and formed to the lower end side of the same open. The groove has a substantially U-shaped cross section with mutually parallel side walls and an upper web. Sidewalls and web preferably form substantially planar surfaces. The groove is designed essentially T-shaped. The side walls of the groove 11 are provided for this purpose in the lower region, each with an inwardly projecting projection 10. The projection or ledge 10 may extend over the entire width of the door leaf 1 or be arranged only in sections or only in the region of the two vertically extending end faces of the door leaf.
The width of the groove 11 is equal to or slightly larger than the width of the housing 20. The projections 10 have a distance from each other, which is dimensioned so that the Absenkleiste is narrower and between the two projections 10 can be lowered therethrough , so that the sealing element 22 can rest on the floor and can seal the gap between the door leaf and the floor. However, the housing 20 lies with its side walls 201 on the projections 10 and is held in the groove 11.
A front-side pushing out the door seal is prevented in the use position by a stop or fastener 3, as shown for example in Figs. 4 and 5. This will be explained in more detail below.
In Fig. 1, the door seal 2 is now held in the reverse position in the groove 11. In this case, the door seal 2 is in turn with its housing 20, now with the web 200, on the projections 10. In this position, the door seal 2 can be stored in the door 1 and transport. This situation is therefore referred to below transport layer.
In this position, only the rigid web 200 of the housing 20 is accessible in the lower open side of the groove 11. The soft and thus more susceptible to damage sealing element is directed upward and thus protected from damage inside the groove 11, between the upper web of the groove 11 and the housing 20 of the door seal 2, held.
In order to prevent a lateral falling out of the door seal 2 during transport, it is preferably fixed to the front side with a retaining means on the door leaf 1. This is in this example, see Fig. 2, an adhesive tape 4, which is glued on the front side of the door leaf 1 via the door seal 2. Preferably, both front ends of the door seal 2 are fixed with such adhesive tapes. Other types of retaining means are possible, however. For example, an edge guard also used for the transport of the door leaf can be designed so that the door seal is kept the same. Furthermore, for example, the lower area or the whole door can be wrapped with a film that holds the door seal in place.
Preferably, in the transport position additionally the stop or fastening means 3 is held in the groove 11. It may, as shown in Fig. 2, be arranged in the upper region of the groove 11. As an attachment or fastening means 3, an angle element is preferably used, as shown in Fig. 7. The angle element has a first leg 32, also called insertion legs, and a, preferably arranged at right angles to second leg 34, which is also called stop leg. The second leg 34 is provided with a mounting hole 30 for receiving a screw 31 in order to fix the second leg 34 on a front side of the door leaf 1 in the position of use of the door seal 2.
The first leg 32 serves the fixed, but preferably releasable connection with the door seal 2. It has a second leg 34 directed towards retention nose 33. The housing 20 has, as shown in Fig. 6, a corresponding hole 204 and a groove which is formed by the web 200 and two arranged on the side walls 201 inwardly projecting ribs 205. The first leg 32 can be inserted for mounting the door seal in the door in this groove until the retaining lug 33 engages in the hole 204. This intervention can be solved if necessary by means of a suitable tool again. To attach the stop or fastener 3 to the door seal no tool is needed thanks to the snap connection.
The door seal can be optionally attached to the door hinge-side end face of the door leaf or other lock-side end face. Fig. 4 shows the attachment to the lock side. Here, the stop or fastener 3 is screwed by means of the screw 31 to counteract the pressure of the actuating rod when closing the door leaf and to hold the housing of the door seal so in its position. This arrangement is chosen especially for door leaves, which can not be opened completely enough or enough to push the seal on the door hinge side. This is usually the case with an opening angle of less than 120 °.
The door 1 can now hang with the door seal in its transport position shown in FIG. 1 in his fishing. Subsequently, the door seal on the door lock-side end side of the groove 11 can be pulled out laterally from the door leaf 1, turn over and insert laterally into the groove 11 in the position of use according to FIG. Subsequently, the stop or fastening means 3 can be fixed by means of the screw 31. Also, retrofitting already hinged doors or replacing a door seal can be done in a simple and fast way. The door seal can thus be mounted without the door having to be unhooked from its hinges. Also, the removal of the door seal is easy because after releasing the stop or fastener 3, the seal is simply pushed out of the groove. Of course, it is still anyone free to bring the seal before hanging the door in its position of use.
In Fig. 5, the stop or fixing means 3 is arranged on the door band side end face of the door leaf 1. No screw is necessary for this. The second leg 34 serves as a stop and receives the pressure generated by the operating knob 23. This type of attachment is mainly used for door leaves, which can be fully opened or enough to push the seal. This type of attachment can of course be used even if the door seal is mounted before hanging the door leaf. This arrangement has several advantages. On the one hand, the seal can be completely assembled and fastened without tools. On the other hand, the visual appearance of the door system is improved because the door lock side only the groove and the seal therein, but no mounting bracket and no screws are visible.
Thus, it is sufficient a single stop or fastener 3 and stepped with the projections 10 groove 11 to hold the door seal 2 in its intended use position in the door 1.
FIGS. 8 to 11 show a second exemplary embodiment. It is essentially the same design as the upper embodiment. However, the angle element used has a relatively short leg whose length X (see FIG. 11) is equal to or less than the height Y of the projections 10 of the groove 11 (see FIG. 9). As a result, the stop or fastening means 3 can already be preassembled in the transport position on the door seal 2, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 10. It may in particular be pre-assembled by machine. Again, a single stop or fastener 3 is sufficient to keep the door seal 2 in its position of use in the groove 11 fixed in position. For this purpose, the door seal 2 is mounted either before hanging the door leaf or this must be pivoted in the suspended state by at least 120 °. The assembly and disassembly of this seal is the same as in the example above.
The embodiments described above are particularly suitable for wooden door leaves. FIGS. 12 to 18 show an exemplary embodiment which is particularly suitable for metal doors or plastic doors, in particular made of PVC.
The door 1 of metal in turn has a downwardly open groove 11, which may now have any shape. In this groove, a holding rail 12 is attached or formed, as can be seen in Fig. 12a. The retaining rail 12 preferably extends over the entire width of the door leaf 1. However, it may also be arranged in sections, in particular in the region of both end faces of the door leaf 1.
This retaining rail 12 serves to hold the door seal 2 both in its position of use (FIG. 12a) and in its transport position (FIG. 14a). The housing 20 of the door seal 2 has suitable means for this purpose.
As can be seen in Fig. 17, the housing 20 at its web 200 formed, upstanding upper lugs 203, which preferably extend over the entire length of the housing 20 and thus the door seal 2. The retaining rail 12 has, as can be seen in FIGS. 12a and 16, a corresponding second groove 121 on both sides. The upper lugs 203 and the second grooves 121 form a groove-and-groove connection. By this connection, the door seal 2 is held in its position of use, as shown in Fig. 13.
As can be seen in Figs. 12a and 12b, the side walls 201 of the housing 20 are provided at their lower in use position with outwardly projecting lower lugs 202, which also preferably extend over the entire length of the housing 20. The retaining rail 12 in turn has a suitable double-sided first groove 120 to receive these lower lugs 202 in a groove-groove connection. This can be seen in FIGS. 14a and 14b and in FIGS. 15 and 18. In this transport position, the door seal 2 is thus arranged freely suspended in the groove 11 of the door leaf 1.
Again, thus, the seal can, as already described in the other examples, mount by simply pushing in the front side and remove by pulling or pushing out again. A lateral falling out can be prevented again by stop or fasteners. This stop and fastening means may be integrally formed on the support rail 12, be formed on the housing 20 or be attachable as a separate part on the housing or on the support rail. Furthermore, the end-side end wall of the metal door can also form the stop for the seal.
Here are two different grooves in the holding means available. With a suitable arrangement of the lugs of the door seal but also the same groove in the holding means can be used for both the position of use as well as for the transport position of the door seal.
Furthermore, a region, in particular the middle region of the side walls, be provided with projecting lugs or ribs and the side walls of the groove of the door leaf, each with a groove for receiving these lugs be formed. As a result, the door seal is held by the same means both in its position of use as well as in its transport position. This variant is particularly suitable for wooden doors, in which case the projections 10 are omitted in the lower region of the groove. The groove can thus have a relatively small depth.
A corresponding example is shown in FIGS. 19 and 20. The housing 20 of the door seal 2 has on both side walls at half height depending on an outwardly projecting rib or a sliding block 24, which preferably extends to a constant height over the entire length of the seal. Matching this is in the side walls of the groove 11 of the door leaf 1 each have a fastening groove 12 'present, which also extending to a constant height extending over the entire length of the groove 11 extends. This mounting groove 12 'may be located exactly halfway up the groove. But it can also, as shown here, closer to the upper web of the groove 11, or it may be closer to the lower edge of the door leaf. In any case, on both sides of the groove, i. up and down, there will be enough space to fully accommodate the seal both in its position of use and in its transport position. Of course, it is also possible to provide the housing with the mounting groove and the door with the ribs.
As an alternative to the approximately centrally arranged fastening groove, grooves or ribs can also be arranged at the upper and lower end of the side walls. As a result, the housing would be held both in the transport and in the use position in the lower and upper regions.
Of course, in each case the nose and the groove can be arranged on the respective other part, so that again a groove-groove stone connection is formed. Furthermore, the grooves of the groove and groove joint in all variants described above can be arranged on the housing of the seal and the lugs or sliding blocks in the door groove. Of course, in all examples described, the housing is preferably made of aluminum.
The inventive method, the inventive door system and the inventive door seal thus allow a simplified storage and transport of the door seal and increase their protection.
